The health and safety of our conference participants is of upmost importance to the South Carolina Association of Veterinarians (SCAV). With that in mind, please review the following COVID-19 guidelines for our in-person event:

  • Face masks/coverings are required in all SCAV meeting rooms and public areas as part of the SCAV Annual Conference (unless outside or eating)
  • All SCAV meeting rooms will follow social distancing protocol (tables placed six feet apart). Limit of 6 people per table. Please do not rearrange seating in session rooms.
  • Registration/Check In will be contactless each day. Attendees will need to locate their own name badge (and keep it throughout the conference) and sign in themselves each day.
  • All on-site registrations will have to register online using their own devices and pay via card through the online system.
  • Anyone displaying symptoms or awaiting test results should not attend the in-person conference. Please review your health status before traveling to the event and each morning before the start of sessions.
  • Attendees will be monitored daily and anyone displaying symptoms will be isolated immediately and asked to leave the facility as soon as possible.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be provided through the conference area.
  • Please review Greenville Embassy Suites Safety Guidelines.
